With beautiful weather and low humidity expected for today, an isolated pop-up shower or storm may occur in the afternoon. Tomorrow, a few scattered showers and storms are forecasted, with mainly nice weather expected on Friday and through midday Saturday. However, western Connecticut may face a shower and storm threat late Saturday afternoon, with more expected moving in across the state on Saturday night and Sunday.
Tropical Storm Ernesto is currently impacting Puerto Rico and is expected to strengthen before affecting Bermuda later this week. Fortunately, it is predicted to stay east of New England as it moves over the Atlantic Ocean.
Expect mainly clear and comfortable conditions this morning with low temperatures in the 50s to low 60s. Today will feature lots of sunshine and a few clouds, along with isolated afternoon thundershowers and highs in the low to mid 80s.
Tomorrow will see a mix of sun and clouds with scattered showers and storms and highs in the low to mid 80s. Friday will have sun and clouds with moderate humidity and similar temperatures.
Saturday will be partly sunny and humid with a few showers and storms in far western Connecticut, while Sunday will bring passing showers and storms with high humidity. Showers and storms are also expected on Monday, followed by partly sunny skies and a chance of a pop-up thunderstorm on Tuesday, with highs in the low 80s throughout.
