The weather for the next few days is looking quite promising with bright skies and low humidity expected as high pressure builds in. However, there may be a few showers or thundershowers on Thursday and beyond as the humidity returns towards the end of the week and into the weekend.
In addition to the local weather, Tropical Storm Ernesto is currently moving quickly across the US/British Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico. Once it reaches north of Puerto Rico, it is expected to strengthen into a Category 2 Hurricane. However, at the moment it appears to be turning away from the East Coast, which is good news for those potentially in its path.
For today, temperatures are expected to be in the low 80s with mostly sunny skies. Tomorrow will see a mix of sun and clouds, with a small chance of a random shower or storm. Thursday is expected to be more cloudy with scattered afternoon thundershowers, along with increased humidity. Friday will see a mix of clouds and sun with the possibility of a widely scattered afternoon thunderstorm.
The weekend is expected to be more unsettled with numerous showers and storms, high humidity, and temperatures around 80°F. Monday will follow a similar pattern with more showers and storms expected and highs near 80°F. Overall, be prepared for a mix of sun, clouds, and potential showers over the next week.
