The annual Feast of the Blessed Sacrament, one of the largest Portuguese gatherings in the United States, is set to take place this Saturday in New Bedford. The event, organized by the Clube Madeirense S.S. Sacramento, promises to be a day filled with fun for kids and adults alike.
The festivities will kick off with a traditional parade at 11 am, featuring colorful floats and marching bands. Following the parade, attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including live music performances, delicious Portuguese food, and carnival games.
For families with children, there will be a designated Kids Zone with inflatable bounce houses, face painting, and other entertainment. Additionally, local vendors will be selling crafts and goods throughout the day.
