Born in 1949, William was a lifelong resident of Newtown and was well-known for his involvement in local organizations and events. He was a dedicated volunteer at the local food pantry and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. William was also a passionate supporter of the arts and was a fixture at community theater productions and art exhibits.
In addition to his community involvement, William was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, two children, and four grandchildren who will miss him dearly.
