PNK Group USA has announced the construction of a new 1.2 million-square-foot industrial building in McDonough, Georgia, set to be completed by the end of 2024. The facility will feature state-of-the-art specifications, including a reinforced concrete structural frame, high-tech construction technology, and advanced equipment.
The building will have a height of 45 feet at its peak, a reinforced 8-inch slab, a 60 mil R-25 roof, and three-layer concrete walls with insulation. It will also include dock equipment, lighting with motion sensors, and the ability to support overhead crane beams with a lifting capacity of up to 8 tons.
PNK Group USA has already completed two industrial buildings totaling 1.5 million square feet at PNK Park Southern Gateway and plans to construct two more buildings in the future. The company’s innovative use of reinforced concrete columns in place of traditional steel columns has led to increased efficiency and reduced construction time.
The new facility will utilize prefab large-unit blocks produced at PNK Group USA factories in Winder, Georgia, and Bethel, PA. These factories are undergoing upgrades to enhance efficiency and speed up the construction process.
