The annual Savin Rock Festival in West Haven kicked off with excitement as vendors, food trucks, and performers prepared for a weekend of fun by the beach. Residents and visitors alike were eager to enjoy the atmosphere, food, music, and activities throughout the event. Wendy Camacho, a vendor at the festival, highlighted the positive experiences and sales they have each year. Mayor Dorinda Borer emphasized the festival’s contribution to creating a positive environment in the city.
With an expected turnout of 10,000 people over the weekend, the festival offered a variety of events for all ages. From a pancake breakfast and children’s activities to carnival rides and live music performances, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The lineup included cover bands for popular music groups, as well as a special performance by American Idol winner Nick Fradiani.
Attendees praised the festival for bringing the community together and providing a much-needed source of entertainment during the summer months.
