Kamala Harris will be appearing on the season nine finale of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” advocating for voting. The episode, set to air on Paramount+, will feature the Vice President encouraging Americans to register to vote and use their voice as a form of power. Harris has a long history of advocating for human and civil rights, including being a champion for marriage equality.
This is not the first time a politician has appeared on the show, with Congresswoman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Speaker Nancy Pelosi previously making appearances. “Drag Race” has always promoted voting rights, with reminders at the end of each episode to register to vote.
The grand finale will feature a “Variety Extravaganza” with all eight queens returning, and the winning queen earning $200,000 for their chosen charity. The competition has a new voting twist, where the three queens with the most badges will vie for the crown, but any queen could still win and be inducted into the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
As of part one of the grand finale, Roxxxy Andrews leads with five Benefactress badges, followed by Jorgeous and Plastique Tiara tied at four badges. The finale is expected to be an exciting event, with the potential for a new queen to snatch the crown and make her mark in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
